Job Summary:

Clicks Group has an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and delivering superior patient care. They are offering a Learnership Programme to qualify as a Pharmacist Assistant.

The programme includes a National Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership and a Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance. As a learner, you will be trained under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist and gain practical experience in a Clicks Pharmacy.

Job Description:

• Successfully complete a National Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme and a Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance.
• Participate in a structured learning programme that combines theoretical and practical components.
• Meet the objectives of the learnership, including completing training contracts, attending required training interventions, and passing competency assessments.
• Provide support to the healthcare team in a Clicks Pharmacy within the legal scope of practice.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 completion with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics (or 60% in Mathematical Literacy), 50% in English, and a Pass in Life Science (Biology)/Physics.

Preference will be given to individuals who meet the Company’s employment equity targets and contribute to the development of unemployed youth as per the National agenda.

Work Back Agreement: Successful applicants will be required to enter into a work back agreement and work for Clicks as a qualified Pharmacist Assistant for a period equal to the length of the learnership period.

Contractual Hours: 45 hours, 6 days per week.
